During this online film screening and talk, artist Sijben Rosa invites Simon(e) van Saarloos to reflect together with them on the film A little bit like the soul, which was finished during Sijben’s residency at HMK and premiered earlier this year. In their film, Sijben rethinks the hetronormative social norms surrounding care through a sculptural performance in which four people who identify as queer live together with a large object Sijben has crafted. The film raises questions about care, touch, relationships, and gender, which will be the departure point for an informal conversation between Sijben, Simon(e) and the audience.
