For KunstVlaai Hotel MariaKapel temporarily moves its’ residency facilities to Amsterdam. Collaborating with various groups of participants artist Alexia Mellor (US/UK) develops an investigation of how we cope with personal and cultural anxieties, resulting in a playful collection and continuously growing archive of safety devices meant to protect us from the various difficulties and fears life presents. With playful interventions the performance-based project Unicorn Union presents an insight in the processes usually taking place during the residency.
