Kurt Pershcke (Chicago) has attracted attention with his Red Ball Project, a huge red ball which he has placed on various public locations on 3 continents: St. Louis ?US, Barcelona ? Spain and Sydney ? Australia.
In Hoorn he researches the brief physical relationship that people have to (public) space in their everyday actions. This time not with a red ball as focus point, but through video recordings of the surroundings, in which he makes geometrical drawings. He visualizes his research in digitally reworked photo prints, an animation film and a spatial drawing in the chapel: Momentary Geometry Series.
