2011: The Other is Here.
HMK's yearprogramme of 2011 shows a strong focus on The Other, and Otherness; the artists in 'The Other Is Here' all observe, describe, manipulate and edit The Other in colorful ways, always employing an extroverted and external perspective. Communication among artists, with our audience and our immediate surroundings – plays an important role. In The Other Is Here, we search for new narratives, diverging situations, odd flavours and foreign influences, and we open up to the ideas, thoughts and stories of others.
