{RECENT} Instant Coffee Light Bar

Instant Coffee is a service-oriented artistcollective from Vancouver, Canada. In November and December, they built a Light Bar in the centre of Hoorn. 

Instant Coffee already built a similar Light Bar during the artprogramme of the Vancouver WinterOlympics of 2010. In Vancouver, the Light Bar was a response to the city's dark and rainy winterseason. In Hoorn, Instant Coffee will light up the Dutch days before christmas with a large light-installation in a storefront at Kruisstraat 19, in the centre of Hoorn. Besides this form of light-therapy, Instant Coffee will also offered a series of activities, such as light rock, light reading and light workshops (like a whittling club).

4 September 2011: PLANKING FOR HMK

 

94841314792050DSCF3273klein.jpgThis weekend (September 3rd and 4th) marks the 7th edition of the Artfair of Hoorn. HMK will be participating with a remake of our MariaChapel facade, where visitors are invited to imitate the HMK-man - a statue that was once put up there by artists Florian Göttke and Sabine Käppler in 1999.


HMK can be found on the Gedempte Turfhaven, between Gouw and Ramen. Sunday September 4th, 12 - 4 PM.
